Pastoring Is Easy as is the Christian Life Together, getting to know our Father in heaven
Thoughts for Meditation from Pastor Tom
The Answer Must Come From Within
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.Romans 3:4 KJV
When we acquire knowledge it comes with the inherent question, is it right or wrong, good or evil? To have confidence one must sense it within, one's conscience must confirm the truth and validity of a matter. We must hear from God. For in him we live, and move, and have our beingActs 17:28
I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh:Acts 2:17 KJV
God is not holding back his presence or his love but is speaking to all that they might receive and acknowledge him. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,John 1:12 KJV
There is great power given to those who seek to know and follow the Lord. He gave his Son to eliminate the barrier between man and himself. This truth is beyond understanding and yet confirmed in the heart of every man who searches for the truth. Accepting and exalting the voice of the Lord within, as it “challenges” knowledge and understanding is unique to every individual.
We have been trained since birth to think for ourselves, to acquire understanding and direct our lives independently. The Lord is calling us to follow the Father as he did, being a loved son and making himself a servant.
Commonly said “God gave us a mind to think” this is true so will you think to relate and follow or think to decide for yourself and self direct.
God demonstrated his love through giving his son, but engages with us to develop a relationship within us. For knowledge received externally creates questions and insecurity; only perfect love can settle your soul. The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith,Romans 10:8 KJV
Think to relate, take every thought to him
